Wow! It has been a long time since I posted last. Summer has flown by so fast and Autumn now approaches. I really look forward to the cooler temps - that's 80's for us here in south Louisiana! LOL!

I've been busy at Vintage To Vogue Shop and have added a great many new items that are related to Fall, Autumn, Halloween and Thanksgiving. There are also some fantastic new home decor items such as a line of leopard prints, beautiful Tuscan inspired items and many new candles just in time for the holidays. As some of you may know, my sister Angela is mentally challenged and lives in a group home close to Baton Rouge.

Her wonderful home manager for over 10 years, Joyce Keenan, is fighting kidney cancer for the second time. Joyce is an inspiring woman who has always gone far beyond the title of "home manager" and is considered a part of our family and many families of those she cares for.

I ask that you pray to help give Joyce the strength to guide her through this very difficult time. Please also pray for strength for my sister and the ladies of her home, Mustard Seed. Joyce's illness has thrown their very structured world into chaos and they are scared and unsure of the future.

It has been a while since I've posted. My baby, Ryan, has been sick and we have to be very careful with him since he is a preemie. However, he's doing great now and we are all well just in time for the holiday season.

Wow, it almost feels like fall in south Louisiana with highs only in the low 80s. We have even had some mornings in the low 60s, so it's been down right cool for us! I hope it continues and I can't wait for highs only in the 70s.

Do you ever feel like you have so much going on you don't do anything very well? Well that's me right now. There is too much to do! (new baby, teenager, hubby who I never see, retail shop, online store, ebay store, AVON business, not to mention mundane things like cleaning the house, paying the bills and keeping me in balance).

Of course, most other women reading this go through the same thing daily. We women try to take on the world i.e. being super mom, business women, wife, friend, etc. and guess what? I'm finding I can't do it all. Big Surprise (LOL)!

So I'm going to take stock this weekend and reevaluate, review, reprioritize, refresh, and renew my comittments. With fall on its way in, it seems like the perfect time! There is a way to balance my family, business and self - I just need to find it!

Hope everyone is doing well and staying cool! It's SO HOT!!!

I've had a super busy week this past week! I've been setting up my retail location in a new home decor/antique/resale store that opens today!!!

I operated a retail location in a home decor store, but the owner closed it down suddenly. The manager, Elisa, decided to open her own store and she did! It's a mixture of antique, vintage, used and new home decor items. The store has open areas and several rooms. I have my own room which is just for Vintage To Vogue and it's wonderful! I've had so much fun setting it up.

Just want everyone to know that I'm adding many new items daily to my ebay store! This week I will add some unique barware with a pirate theme, Gorham Contessa china pieces, Lenox collectible figurines, Department 56 Seasons Bay Lighted Buildings (First Edition, Gold Flag), vintage silver, vintage pottery and glassware and some of my mother's vintage costume jewelry.

I'm also very excited to be able to once again open a retail location. A friend is opening a resale home decor store on July 1st and I am fortunate enough to be part of it.

Don't forget the Christmas in July Sale is coming. I'll post the starting date soon.

Hello everyone!

I'm very excited with my blog's new look! Hope you like it too.

Now that my newborn is home and doing well, I can't wait to get back to my website, ebay store and retail location. Thank you to all of you who followed Ryan's blog and who have sent their prayers and support.

Hi,
It's been a long time since I've posted! Things have been crazy since having baby Ryan 12 weeks early. We went through 11 weeks of NICU, but now he is home! He is on oxygen and monitors, but we are hopeful that he will be off of those in now time.

I am now able to get Vintage To Vogue Shop on ebay and the web up and running again! I have lots of great items to list so please visit! In the coming weeks I will be listing a lot of Disney items, vintage china, coins, and Department 56.
